On Thursday (August 3), a vehicle was caught on CCTV performing dangerous stunts at a retail park on the A414. The vehicle then proceeded to enter the car park of Starbucks in Chiswell Green and committed additional offenses. As a result, the driver has been banned from driving into the Starbucks car park and issued a warning by Hertfordshire police. The police, with the assistance of the Community Safety Unit (CSU), visited the owner’s address and issued a Community Protection Warning (CPW) which prohibits them from driving any vehicle into the Starbucks car park. The owner also received a Section 59 warning, allowing the police to seize their vehicle if they are caught driving in an anti-social manner again. The area is being closely monitored, and the police will continue to take action against drivers causing a nuisance. The car park has been under increased police surveillance since the incident. One driver with illegal tints on their windows was reported and forced to remove them at the roadside.
